ஜெயஸ்ரீ இந்திய திரைப்பட நடிகை ஆவார். இவர் 1985-ம் ஆண்டு "தென்றல் என்னை தொடு" திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் தமிழில் அறிமுகமாகியுள்ளார். இவர் தமிழ், தெலுங்கு, மற்றும் மலையாள திரைப்படங்களில் நடித்துள்ளார். 

 இவர் பெரும்பாலும் தமிழ் திரைப்படங்களில் நடித்து, 1985 முதல் 1997-ம் ஆண்டுகள் வரை தமிழில் முன்னணி நடிகையாக வளம் வந்தவர். பின்னர் இவர் திரையுலக வாழ்க்கைக்கு ஒரு இடைவேளை விடுத்து மீண்டும் 2014-ம் ஆண்டு "காதல் டு கல்யாணம்", "மணல் கயிறு" திரைப்படங்களில் நடித்துள்ளார்.

Popular 80’s Tamil actress Jayashree, who made her debut through the film Thendrale Ennai Thodu opposite actor Mohan had been part of numerous Tamil films. However, the actress had moved to the United States of America after a stint of films and when we got in touch with her recently, we got to know something really interesting.
Actress Jayashree has been working for a leading France based bank situated in the USA and is really happy about this. Apart from this, she is also the mother of two children. Talking about this innings of hers to Behindwoods, Jayashree said:
“I am really happy working here and it has been around 30 years since I moved to the States. I loved acting in films as well and this is another nice phase of life. Apart from all this, I am now a mother and this is something I am proud of too. I haven’t stopped acting in films though. You would have recently seen me in Manal Kayiru 2 as well. It is nice to be here in the USA and the occasional films are also a nice experience.”

We wish actress Jayashree best of luck for her forthcoming ventures, films and endeavours.Yesteryear heroine Jayashree was very popular in eighties having actres in a number of movies as lead herione including 'Thendraley Ennai Thodu' opposite Mohan, 'Vidinja Kalyanam', with Sathyaraj and 'Vanna Kanavugal' in which she was paired opposite Karthik and Murali. Her most recent film is 'Manal Kayiru 2' in which she played a pivotal role with S.Ve. Sekhar and Visu.

 Jayashree married and settled in the US for many years now and she is the managing director of an IT company there. The pretty actress has shared a photo in which she and her son Arjun are seen cooking food. She has shared that she has started a voluntary organization through which like minded people join together to cook for the less fortunate people in the society making them happy by giving them a good meal and getting a lot of peace doing that.
