Early life[edit] Gayatri Jayaraman was born on 27 September 1984 to Jayaraman, an auditor, and Chitra, a housewife. She was educated at Adarsh Vidyalaya and then Church Park in Mumbai. Gayatri grew up in Shahabad near Gulbarga till she was four years old before her family headed to Madras.
