PRAVEENA ,VOICE ARTIST , ACTRESS BORN 1978 APRIL 11 Praveena is an Indian film, soap actress and voice artist. She is known for her role as Goddess Shakti/Parvati in the Asianet TV Show Devi Mahatmya. She has starred in numerous Malayalam films and Television soap operas.[1] She started her acting career in 1992. Her debut film was Gowri. Her debut as a heroine was in Kaliyoonjal (1997). She received the Kerala State Film Awards for her performances in the films Agnisakshi (1998)[2] and Oru Pennum Randaanum (2008).[3] She received the Kerala state award for dubbing also for Elektra (2010) and Ivan Megharoopan (2012). Career Praveena is a Malayalam television serial and film actress. She appeared in films like Agnisakshi, English Medium, Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum & Swarnam.
