  DUTCH CAPTURED CELON ,IMPLEMENTED LAW ON 1707 JUNE 4 தேசவழமைச் சட்டம் என்பது  ஒல்லாந்தர்  ஆட்சிக்காலத்துக்கு முன்னர்  யாழ்ப்பாணத்தில்  வழங்கிய வழக்கங்களை (customs) அடிப்படையாக வைத்து யாழ்ப்பாண முதலிமாரின் உதவியுடன்  ஒல்லாந்தரால்  தொகுக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு சட்டம் ஆகும். தேசவழமை என்பதன் பொருள் ஒரு தேசத்தின் வழக்கம் என்பதாகும். மக்களிடையே இதற்கிருந்த பிரபலத்துவம் காரணமாக ஒல்லாந்தரால் இது  1707  ஆம் ஆண்டு எழுத்து மூலமாக்கப்பட்டது. [1] [2] பின்னர் ஆங்கிலேயரால் 1806 ஆம் ஆண்டு சட்ட மூலமாக்கப்பட்டது. இச்சட்டமானது பின்னர்  1869  இலும் பின்  1911  இலும் கடைசியாக  1947  இலும் திருத்தியமைக்கப்பட்டது. இச்சட்டம் உடமை உரிமைகள் பற்றியும் திருமணம் பற்றியும் விபரமான வரையறைகளை விபரிக்கின்றது.
