  FREEDOM FIGHTER R.CHIDAMBARA BHARATHI  BORN 1905 JUNE 5 - 1987 APRIL 30 தியாகி ஆர்.சிதம்பர பாரதி (பிறப்பு:05.06.1905-நினைவு:30.04.1987) (படம்)      சுதந்திரப் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டதற்காகச் சிறைப்பட்டு வட நாட்டுச் சிறைகளில் சுமார் 14 ஆண்டுகள் அடைபட்டுக் கிடந்த தியாகிதான் ஆர்.சிதம்பர பாரதி.        பெருந்தலைவர் காமராஜ் அவர்களுடைய நெருங்கிய நண்பரான சிதம்பர பாரதி பிரிட்டிஷ் ஆட்சிக் காலத்தில் பலமுறை அவர்களுடைய சட்டங்களை மீறியதற்காகக் கைது செய்யப்பட்டார். சுதந்திரத்திற்குப் பிறகு தமிழ் நாடு சட்டமன்றத்திற்கு 1957 தேர்தலில் மானாமதுரை தொகுதியிலிருந்து தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார்.         ஆர்.சிதம்பர பாரதி 1905 ஜூன் 5ஆம் தேதி மதுரையில் வடக்கு மாசி வீதியில் இருந்த ‘ராமாயணச் சாவடி’ எனும் இவர்களது இல்லத்தில் ரெங்கசாமி சேர்வைக்கும் பொன்னம்மாள் அம்மையாருக்கும் மகனாகப் பிறந்தார். இவர்களுக்கு சிதம்பர பாரதி பதினாறாவது குழந்தை. இவருக்கு எட்டு அண்ணன்மார்களும், ஏழு அக்காமார்களும் இருந்தனர். இவருடைய ஐந்தாவது வயதில் இவருடைய தந்தை காலமானார்.   ...

The king, a non-believer, loses his cool when one of them, Madana (Rajakumari), performs prayers against his orders.
