There was a superstar... Rajesh Khanna.
There was a superstar... Rajesh Khanna. After shooting, he would drink scotch until three in the morning. He would eat dinner at four. The shooting would start at ten in the morning and he would arrive at four in the evening. One day, a very self-respecting producer said, "Uncle, are you looking at your watch?" Full of pride, Uncle replied, "It's not me, it's the watch that looks at my time... My watch costs five lakh rupees and my glasses cost three lakh rupees... I had a lot of money and I used to throw a lot."
The director wrapped up without shooting and said that time teaches a lesson to those who disrespect time. There came a time when Kaka had no time. He had no films, no shooting, no wife, no children, and no one to tell him to pack up. He would sometimes be happy and sometimes tearful watching his old films with his sycophants. Everyone left him. His destiny was to drink alone and then roll over, and everyone knows the rest of the story.
This is a time that comes to everyone, but not forever. If time and luck are not on your side, you are worth nothing. Perhaps action and effort have some importance, but whether you will live to do your work is determined by your fate, not your efforts.
Enjoy the good times to the fullest, but be prepared for the bad. Whether someone stands by you in your bad times or not, don't resent them in your good times. Humility is the key to good times, while arrogance is the weapon that can prematurely destroy them... This is an eternal truth that applies equally to everyone.
