Priya Bhavani Shankar is an Indian television presenter and actress, best known for her role in the Tamil movie Meyaadha Maan.

Priya was born to Bhavani Shankar and Thangam Bhavani Shankar and her home town is Mayiladudurai (Myalai ). She was first noticed as a TV presenter in the tamil news channel Puthiya Thalaimurai. She later rose to fame through the Tamil drama Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai.
After getting fame through Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai serial, she has gained huge fandom which other actress will not get. The huge fan base helped her to step into films.
She also gained a fans association. They even erected a small banner in sathyam theatre for meyaadha maan release. That film has Vaibhav Reddy in the lead role. But her photo was publicised for promotions.
