vintage_stardust Later this week will mark what would have been the 97th birthday of talented actress Jeanne Crain (1925-2003) (pictured here on the left) 💖. Crain and Linda Darnell (1923-1965) (right) were not only both great beauties and popular actresses on the 20th Century Fox lot, but they costarred together in two films: “Centennial Summer” (1946) and “A Letter to Three Wives” (1949). Additionally, they sometimes spent time together socially offscreen, as seen in this photograph taken at the Stork Club in the late 1940s. Joined by Jeanne’s husband, Paul Brinkman (1918-2003), the women appear to be happily swapping stories 💖.
