“Priyamanaval” is one among the popular serials with high TRP on Sun TV. “Praveena” plays the titular role. The actress, who is born and brought up in Kerala started her career in Malayalam film industry. She had been choosy with her roles, right from the beginning of her career.  Praveena is a playback singer, good dancer and voice-over artist too. She had received the Kerala State Awards for her performance and voice over. After getting married, she had been away from the film industry, as she had been in Dubai. After returning to India, she was showered with a lot of films and she chose the best. Besides movies, she was offered numerous TV Serials. She played in a lot of Malayalam serials. She had played in Tamil serials including Namma Kudumbam, “Maharani,” Adhiparasakthi and now Priyamanaval.

In Namma Kudumbam, she did a cameo role. She turned popular among the Tamil audiences through the Vijay TV Serial Maharani. Many people started treating as their mother, as her character was powerful and she just performed naturally. Now, she has been playing in Priyamanaval from 2015 and people see her as Uma and not Praveena. Let’s wish Praveena a Happy Birthday! Many More Happy Returns Of The Day Dear, Praveena! May your dreams come true and make you happy!
